    • As the new school year begins, we are thrilled to share the outstanding results achieved by our students on the Cambridge IGCSE examinations. 52% of 2024's IGCSE grades are A*/A, while the grades of A*/B was as high as 76%!

YCIS Shanghai students continue their longstanding tradition of academic excellence, surpassing their previous remarkable results.

Two students earned an exceptional 11 A*/A grades, nine students achieved 10 A*/A grades or above, 17 students earned 9 A*/A grades or above, and 25 students attained 8 A*/A grades or above.

While grades are not the sole measure of success, we're delighted to see our students' hard work and dedication paying off. This progress is also a testament to our teaching staff's tireless efforts and commitment to excellence.

Students have excelled across various academic disciplines, with A*/B rates in all subjects, significantly exceeding the international average. This demonstrates our ability to provide strong support and guidance for students with diverse interests and abilities.

One of the most challenging IGCSE subjects, Additional Mathematics, requires students to grasp deeper mathematical concepts, preparing them for future IB HL Mathematics or HL Physics courses. We are proud that 95% of YCIS students achieved A*-B grades in this demanding subject, laying a solid foundation for their future academic endeavors.

YCIS Shanghai has consistently maintained excellent performance records and outstanding teaching quality in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). At the heart of our curriculum is the commitment to ensuring that every student can realise their full academic and extracurricular potential.

Over the two-year IGCSE journey, our professional teaching team and top-notch resources have provided multifaceted support for students.

Additionally, our holistic education philosophy offers ample opportunities for students to showcase their talents, support their participation in external academic competitions and encourage their involvement in diverse school and community activities.

We congratulate each and every one of you for your hard work and perseverance throughout the IGCSE Programme in Year 10 and Year 11. Your excellent results are a testament to your abilities, and we believe you are well-prepared for the upcoming IB Diploma Programme journey.
