My life at YCIS is very interesting and exciting, and I study a lot of subjects every day, including Math, Science, English, and Chinese. I also make a lot of friends from different countries, such as France, India, and America.

In our school, we have many fun events and co-curricular activities. The music activities are my favourite. On Thursdays, I participate in orchestra and on Wednesdays I attend choir.

While we have uniforms at our school, we also have “dress up” days and “dress for a cause” days where you can wear any clothes you like.

At YCIS, we also have interesting travel opportunities, including Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) and World Classroom trips. EOTC is where we travel throughout China and do a lot of interesting and fun activities. In Year 7, we went to Tonglu and I learned many things, such as how to be more independent, as well as some cooking and farming techniques. During World Classroom trips, students travel to other world destinations like Florida, Yellowstone, Barcelona, and Sri Lanka.

In my opinion, YCIS is a fabulous school because you can meet many friends from all over the world, and you can experience a lot of great, new things.
