Each entry was then adjudicated by a panel of external judges, based on five areas: musicality, technical proficiency, tonal quality, presentation, and memorisation.

Competition is not always the first thought when considering Music or Drama, but there is no doubt that the added pressure of being pitted against others can help some of our students strive for their very best. And they have done just that, thriving in this year’s music competition, perfectly aligning culture and the arts as per our school motto. - Mr Nick Adgemis, Head of Performing Arts, YCIS Shanghai, Pudong
Competitions like this one enable students to express themselves creatively in a fun and memorable way. They provide transferable skills and enhance the students’ overall learning experience at YCIS.
