The YCIS Parent Organisation Pudong (POP) recently held their annual Charity Dinner at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton. The successful evening, themed “Light Up the Night”, raised an amazing RMB 375,415 yuan for the charities Heart to Heart and the WILL Foundation.

Ms Moira Macpherson, Parent Relations Officer at Century Park and Regency Park campuses, says, “Many parents and organisations supported POP to reach their goal of helping children in need through Heart to Heart and the WILL Foundation. Funds were raised through donations, ticket sales, raffles, and a silent auction. POP is excited to be able to fund ten heart surgeries, three school libraries in rural China, and to provide an abundance of food for the children at WILL for a long time!”

The night was a great success as YCIS parents and friends enjoyed delicious food, live music, and participating in the raffles and auction, all while enjoying the 360° views from the restaurant, making it a spectacular night with a meaningful purpose!
