Students at YCIS Shanghai have been busy preparing for the upcoming Spring Festival, as part of their study of Chinese culture.

In addition to creating Chinese paper cuttings, playing on traditional Chinese instruments, and learning traditional Chinese dance, some of the younger students have written Chinese characters on pieces of red paper (the couplet) to decorate their classrooms. Chinese New Year celebration events are set to take place at YCIS throughout the next few weeks, with the first event this Friday evening at the Regency Park Campus, and the second celebration the following weekend at YCIS Gubei Campus.
